Icyrobot has released the LGK-400IGBT, a 40 kW-class IGBT air plasma cutting source developed for nuclear, shipbuilding, offshore and ultra-thick stainless applications.

- Dual O₂ and N₂ gas channels — high-speed carbon steel cutting plus high-quality edges on stainless and aluminium
- THC arc-voltage height control interface as standard for automatic torch height tracking on CNC tables
- 100% duty cycle for full-shift continuous production
- Non-HF arc starting option to avoid interference with CNC electronics
Application Positioning
The model targets nuclear equipment, shipbuilding, offshore engineering and ultra-thick stainless service centres. Paired with the Icyrobot CNC cutting controller and StarCAM nesting software, it forms a complete medium and heavy plate cutting solution.
