LGK-400IGBT Inverter Air Plasma Cutter

Inverter Air Plasma Cutting Machine

Inverter air plasma cutting machine LGK-400IGBT. Three-phase 380 V supply. Functions: Cut / Grid / Marking / Gouge. Design features - 100% duty cycle, suited to heavy industrial work - Current ramp-up technology that reduces torch consumable wear - Wide supply-voltage tolerance - Engineered dust-proof layout for high machine reliability - Compact, low-volume and lightweight construction, mountable on a CNC machine - Uses low-cost compressed air as the cutting gas, keeping running cost low - Accurate stepless presetting of cutting current - Plasma gas pressure detection and indication, plus a gas-test function for easy pressure setting - Automatic protection against over-temperature, over-voltage, under-voltage and phase loss Applications For manual and machine cutting of carbon steel, alloy steel and non-ferrous metals. Widely used in boiler and chemical plant construction, pressure-vessel fabrication, industrial power-plant installation, metallurgical and chemical construction, aerospace, automotive manufacturing and repair, and building decoration, and across all industries involving metal cutting. Why 400 A 400 A is the top of the LGK range, built for the thickest plate an air plasma system is asked to cut and for continuous gouging. It is a fixed installation: three-phase supply, a high-capacity compressor, water cooling and fume extraction are all part of the specification. Typical applications are heavy plate preparation, foundry and steel-mill maintenance, and shipbuilding.

Selection & Setup Notes

400 A is our flagship air plasma class, aimed at extra-heavy plate, underwater cutting and large-scale dismantling. Such duties normally need a high-flow compressor, water-cooled torch and dedicated fixturing together — contact our engineers for a complete line package. See Contact and the full model range.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the 400 A do underwater cutting?

Yes, with a dedicated underwater torch, insulation and safety measures, operated by trained personnel. A specific safety assessment must be completed first.

Will it cut 80 mm in one pass?

80 mm is around the top of the quality-cut band and needs ample pierce dwell, stable gas pressure and correct speed. For thicker sections, evaluate flame cutting or another process.

What are the maintenance priorities at this current level?

Cooling, air cleanliness and cable connection tightness. Use an inspection checklist and replace consumables by running hours rather than by failure.
