LGK-65IGBT Inverter Air Plasma Cutter

Inverter Air Plasma Cutting Machine

Inverter air plasma cutting machine LGK-65IGBT. Single-phase 220 V supply. Functions: Cut / Grid / Marking / Gouge. Design features - 100% duty cycle, suited to heavy industrial work - Current ramp-up technology that reduces torch consumable wear - Wide supply-voltage tolerance - Engineered dust-proof layout for high machine reliability - Compact, low-volume and lightweight construction, mountable on a CNC machine - Uses low-cost compressed air as the cutting gas, keeping running cost low - Accurate stepless presetting of cutting current - Plasma gas pressure detection and indication, plus a gas-test function for easy pressure setting - Automatic protection against over-temperature, over-voltage, under-voltage and phase loss Applications For manual and machine cutting of carbon steel, alloy steel and non-ferrous metals. Widely used in boiler and chemical plant construction, pressure-vessel fabrication, industrial power-plant installation, metallurgical and chemical construction, aerospace, automotive manufacturing and repair, and building decoration, and across all industries involving metal cutting. Why 65 A 65 A is the portable class of the LGK-IGBT range: light enough to carry to the job, yet able to cut plate up to around 20 mm. It is the usual choice for installation crews, maintenance teams and small fabrication shops that need one machine for both handheld cutting and light CNC work. Single-phase 220 V supply means it runs from a normal workshop socket or a portable generator.

Key Features

  • IGBT inverter main circuit: more than 60% lighter than an equivalent-current mains-frequency machine
  • 100% duty cycle design for continuous heavy-duty and CNC table operation
  • Stepless current preset with ramp-up technology that softens arc-start shock and extends electrode and nozzle life
  • Wide supply tolerance; starts reliably on generator power and under voltage fluctuation
  • Plasma gas pressure detection and indication with a gas-test function for quick pressure setting
  • Automatic over-temperature, over-voltage, under-voltage and phase-loss protection with traceable fault shutdown
  • Runs on single-phase 220 V, so no three-phase supply is required
  • 65 A output: portable enough for site work while handling plate up to about 20 mm

Typical Applications

  • Thin sheet cutting and ductwork fabrication
  • Equipment repair, agricultural machinery maintenance and field modification
  • Architectural metalwork and signage
  • Scrap dismantling and offcut processing

Selection & Setup Notes

65 A is the entry current class for air plasma, covering roughly 12–18 mm of quality cut on mild steel from a single-phase 220 V supply — the most practical setup for repair shops and mobile work. If everyday plate exceeds 20 mm, move up to the LGK-100IGBT. See how to size an air plasma cutter by thickness, or browse the full inverter air plasma cutter range.

Frequently Asked Questions

How thick can the LGK-65IGBT cut on single-phase 220 V?

Plan on a 12–18 mm quality-cut range in mild steel. It will sever thicker plate occasionally, but speed, squareness and consumable life all suffer. Above 20 mm regularly, choose 100 A or more on three-phase supply.

Can it be mounted on a CNC table?

Yes — the compact, lightweight chassis was designed for machine mounting. Mechanised use needs a machine torch, arc voltage height control and collision protection.

What routine maintenance matters most?

Dry, oil-free compressed air; gas pressure inside the process window; timely electrode and nozzle replacement; and regular cleaning of the dust filters. See the consumable life and failure-sign guide.
