MS-4100 Fine Plasma Torch

Plasma Consumables & Parts

The MS-4100 fine plasma torch uses a constricted nozzle and optimised gas swirl to produce a narrower arc column, a tighter kerf and a smaller bevel angle — the key component for raising cut-face quality on CNC plasma tables. Fits the Max-AH and Max-HPR fine plasma ranges.

Key Features

  • Constricted nozzle gives a markedly narrower arc column
  • Optimised gas swirl for tighter kerf, smaller bevel and a thinner heat-affected zone
  • Compact body for easy mounting on CNC tables and robotic torch holders
  • Standardised consumables — electrode, nozzle, swirl ring and shield — for fast changes
  • Fits the Max-AH and Max-HPR fine plasma ranges
  • Water-cooled option for extended continuous duty

Typical Applications

  • CNC fine plasma cutting tables
  • Robotic plasma cutting cells
  • High-accuracy cutting of medium and heavy plate
  • Quality cutting of stainless steel and aluminium

Selection & Setup Notes

The torch is the component that determines cut-face quality. Pair it with the MSW-20L chiller for longer continuous runs, and add the DJC-01 torch guard for collision protection.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the MS-4100 and the MS-4000?

Both are fine plasma torches. The MS-4100 further improves gas flow and cooling and suits higher current fine plasma sources. Confirm exact compatibility with our engineers.
