Key Features

  • 100% duty cycle design for continuous industrial work and long CNC table runs
  • Current ramp-up softens arc strike and markedly reduces torch consumable wear
  • Wide mains tolerance — stable starting on generator power and unstable grids
  • Engineered dust-proof air ducting keeps the interior clean and reliability high
  • Compact and light enough to mount directly on a gantry beam
  • Runs on low-cost compressed air, keeping operating cost down
  • Stepless, accurate current preset
  • Plasma gas pressure indication plus a gas-test function for quick setup
  • Automatic protection against overheat, over-voltage, under-voltage and phase loss

Typical Applications

  • Continuous cutting of medium and heavy plate
  • Power source for CNC cutting tables
  • Boiler and pressure vessel fabrication, industrial plant installation
  • Automotive manufacturing and repair, architectural metalwork

Selection & Setup Notes

160 A is the economical choice for 30–40 mm quality cut in mild steel. For continuous production, pair it with a water-cooled torch and the MSW-20L chiller.

Standards & Further Reading

Frequently Asked Questions

160 A or 200 A — which should I choose?

It depends on thickness and duty. Up to 30 mm and under six hours a day, 160 A is more economical. For 35–50 mm with long continuous runs, go straight to the LGK-200IGBT for headroom.

Can it run off a generator?

Yes. The wide mains tolerance handles it, but size the generator at not less than twice the rated capacity of the power source and verify stable output voltage.
