Key Features
- Low-frequency (non-HF) arc starting with very low electromagnetic interference; connects directly to CNC tables and robot cells
- Fine plasma arc column: narrow kerf, small bevel angle and a thin heat-affected zone, visibly less distortion on thin sheet
- High-precision torch concentricity and swirl gas path for consistent cut faces
- Supports arc-voltage height control and torch lift bodies for automated cutting
- Real-time communication with the CNC system; pierce current boost and intelligent corner-current control
- Dual IGBT module packaging for higher stability and longer service life
- Complete gas-pressure detection plus over-temperature and phase-loss protection
- 40% duty cycle on 110 V / 220 V single-phase, no derating on 220 V / 380 V three-phase
- 45 A fine arc for thin sheet with almost no distortion
Typical Applications
- Thin-sheet fabrication and precision part cutting
- Kitchenware, household metal products and decorative components
- Electrical enclosures, cabinets and electronics housings
- Signage, advertising letters and artistic metalwork
- Robotic and CNC cells where HF interference must be avoided
Selection & Setup Notes
45 A is the thin-sheet class of fine plasma: within the precision plasma range it is the model best suited to plate below 6 mm and to visible-surface parts, producing a kerf that approaches laser quality. If thin sheet is only a small part of your work and you cut mostly medium plate, consider the Max-105AL. The boundaries between the three processes are explained in plasma vs laser vs flame cutting.
