Key Features
- Low-frequency (non-HF) arc starting, very low EMI, safe next to CNC and communication equipment
- Fine plasma arc column with narrow kerf, small bevel and thin heat-affected zone
- High-precision torch concentricity and swirl gas path for repeatable cut faces
- Digital and analogue interfaces for CNC tables and robot cells
- Gas-pressure monitoring with automatic over-temperature, under-voltage and phase-loss protection
- Stepless current preset for accurate matching to plate thickness
- 65 A class output covering thin to medium plate in one machine
Typical Applications
- Sheet-metal fabrication and general metal products
- Machine frames, panels and structural components
- Stainless-steel fabrications and food machinery
- Maintenance, repair and site installation work
- CNC cutting tables requiring interference-free arc starting
Selection & Setup Notes
The Max-65AL sits between the 45 A thin-sheet model and the 105 A general-purpose model in the precision plasma range. Choose it when most of your work falls between 3 mm and 12 mm and you want a single machine for both handheld and machine cutting. For thinner, appearance-critical parts see the Max-45AL; for heavier plate and gouging see the Max-105AL.
