NB-500A CO2 / MIG / MAG Welding Machine

CO2 / MIG / MAG Welder

NB-500A CO2 / MIG / MAG gas-shielded welding machine with digital inverter control. Rated at 500 A, it delivers a stable arc, low spatter and an attractive bead profile, and is intended for high-efficiency welding of medium and thick plate. Digital inverter control holds welding parameters precisely and stably. Synergic single-knob adjustment keeps operation simple and shortens the learning curve. The machine accepts several shielding gases, so carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium can all be welded. Protection and indication functions are comprehensive for high reliability, and the high duty cycle suits batch and continuous production. Applications Widely used in steel structures, automotive manufacturing and repair, pressure vessels and general machinery manufacturing.

Key Features

  • Inverter gas-shielded output: stable arc, low spatter and good bead formation
  • Supports both CO2 and mixed shielding gas schemes
  • Synergic single-knob adjustment for fast setup
  • Stable wire feeding, tolerant of long cable runs and remote work
  • Complete over-temperature, over-voltage and under-voltage protection
  • Suited to all-position welding and continuous production
  • 500 A output covering efficient welding of medium and thick plate
  • Compatible with a water-cooled torch for high-duty continuous operation

Typical Applications

  • Medium-heavy steel structures and heavy members
  • Construction and mining equipment manufacturing
  • Ship panels and offshore engineering
  • High-volume multi-pass welding

Selection & Setup Notes

500 A targets medium-heavy plate and multi-pass work; pair it with a water-cooled gun for continuous duty. If your work is mostly thin sheet, the NBM-350D single-pulse controls spatter and distortion better.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a water-cooled gun mandatory at 500 A?

Strongly recommended for continuous high-duty work — an air-cooled neck overheats and burns tips and nozzles quickly.

Can it weld aluminium?

Yes, with pure argon or an argon-helium mix and aluminium-appropriate drive rolls and liner. For thin aluminium sheet, a double-pulse model is preferable.

What matters in long runs?

Keep cooling vents clear, cable connections tight and contact tips on schedule, and allow cool-down intervals according to duty cycle.
