LGK-85IGBT Inverter Air Plasma Cutter

Inverter Air Plasma Cutting Machine

Inverter air plasma cutting machine LGK-85IGBT. Single-phase 220 V supply. Functions: Cut / Grid / Marking / Gouge. Design features - 100% duty cycle, suited to heavy industrial work - Current ramp-up technology that reduces torch consumable wear - Wide supply-voltage tolerance - Engineered dust-proof layout for high machine reliability - Compact, low-volume and lightweight construction, mountable on a CNC machine - Uses low-cost compressed air as the cutting gas, keeping running cost low - Accurate stepless presetting of cutting current - Plasma gas pressure detection and indication, plus a gas-test function for easy pressure setting - Automatic protection against over-temperature, over-voltage, under-voltage and phase loss Applications For manual and machine cutting of carbon steel, alloy steel and non-ferrous metals. Widely used in boiler and chemical plant construction, pressure-vessel fabrication, industrial power-plant installation, metallurgical and chemical construction, aerospace, automotive manufacturing and repair, and building decoration, and across all industries involving metal cutting. Why 85 A 85 A is the step up when 65 A runs out of capacity but three-phase power is not available. It adds pierce capability and cutting speed on mid-thickness plate while staying on a single-phase 220 V supply, which makes it popular with structural steel erectors, equipment installers and maintenance workshops.

  • Single-phase 220 V supply, no three-phase installation needed
  • 85 A output bridging portable and production cutting on mid-thickness plate

Typical Applications

  • Everyday cutting in maintenance and jobbing shops
  • Agricultural machinery, special vehicles and metal fabrications
  • Scrap recovery and equipment dismantling
  • Pipe, bracket and site erection work

Selection & Setup Notes

85 A is the safe choice for shops that cut a bit of everything: quick on thin sheet, and able to pierce up to about 20 mm of mild steel. If your work sits above 20 mm, see the LGK-130IGBT. Full sizing ranges are in the inverter air plasma cutter section.

Frequently Asked Questions

85 A or 100 A — which should I choose?

Judge by everyday thickness: below 18 mm the difference is small; between 20 and 28 mm the 100 A wins clearly on speed, squareness and pierce capability.

Will it overheat in long runs?

The 100% duty design runs continuously at rated output within the specified ambient range. The handheld torch has its own thermal limit, so use water cooling or rotate torches at high duty.

Can it cut galvanised or painted plate?

Yes, but volatilised zinc and coatings generate heavy fume — increase local extraction, reduce speed slightly and use appropriate respiratory protection.
