LGK-105AM Built-in Air Compressor Plasma Cutter

Built-in Air Compressor Plasma

The LGK-105AM integrates welding and cutting with a built-in air compressor, forming a mobile plasma cutting workstation. The operator selects either the internal air source or an external supply, so the same machine works on site and in the workshop. A built-in 1500 W high-pressure compressor removes the need for external compressed air, which is what makes unattended outdoor cutting possible. A four-stage low-speed motor drives the compressor: at equal air output the piston lasts longer, and the unit runs more steadily and more quietly. The compressor sits on anti-vibration mounts that absorb the shock of operation and transport, reducing the risk of internal components working loose, cutting noise and extending compressor life. A high-quality pressure-regulating filter gives fine filtration and stable, reliable regulation. Mature current ripple control technology produces flat, clean cut faces. The main circuit uses two large 1000 µF / 400 V filter capacitors for strong resistance to supply fluctuation, so the machine also runs steadily on generator power. Protection is comprehensive: over-temperature protection, compressor phase-loss protection, and over-voltage / under-voltage protection. Applications Manual cutting of carbon steel, alloy steel and non-ferrous metals. Widely used for pipelines, steel structures and power-plant installation, outdoor electromechanical equipment repair, metal demolition and recycling, and other non-fixed, frequently relocated sites. Not recommended for fixed indoor installations.

Key Features

  • Built-in 1500 W high-pressure compressor: no external compressed air required
  • Cutting and manual arc welding in one machine, covering two site requirements
  • Switchable between internal air source and external supply
  • Four-stage low-speed motor drive for longer piston life and quieter running
  • Anti-vibration compressor mounts reducing shock, noise and component loosening
  • High-precision pressure-regulating filter with fine filtration and stable regulation
  • Two 1000 µF / 400 V filter capacitors: strong supply-fluctuation immunity, works on generator power
  • Over-temperature, compressor phase-loss and over-voltage / under-voltage protection

Typical Applications

  • Pipeline, steel structure and power-plant installation sites
  • Outdoor electromechanical equipment repair and emergency work
  • Metal demolition, rescue and recycling dismantling
  • Mobile jobs with no compressed-air supply
  • Farm, ranch and remote-site maintenance

Selection & Setup Notes

This machine was built for sites with no air: plug in, pick up the torch and start cutting, and lay down a few MMA beads while you are there. For continuous production at a fixed station, a conventional inverter plasma on external air is more economical. See plasma consumables and parts.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will single-phase 220 V run it?

It is designed for single-phase supply, suited to site and temporary power. Still verify service capacity and cable cross-section on site.

How long can the built-in compressor run?

The compressor has its own duty rating; for continuous high-current cutting allow cool-down intervals per spec or switch to external air.

How thick can it cut?

It depends on the built-in compressor output and duty; keep everyday thickness inside the quality-cut band. Send us the details for confirmation.
