Key Features
- Gas console with air / oxygen / nitrogen selection by process
- Oxygen on carbon steel: bright, clean face with minimal dross, ready to weld
- Nitrogen on stainless steel and aluminium: natural metallic finish, no grinding
- Closed-loop gas pressure and flow control for batch-to-batch consistency
- Current ripple control for stable output and smooth faces
- HF box separated from the power source; short torch cable gives 100% start success
- Torch cooling circuit with high-flow pump and large heat exchanger for long consumable life
- Comprehensive interfaces for CNC integration and automation
Typical Applications
- Grind-free carbon-steel cutting for weld-ready edges
- Stainless-steel vessels, food and pharmaceutical equipment
- Aluminium and non-ferrous sheet processing
- Batch production with appearance and tolerance requirements
- Automated cutting lines and intelligent CNC tables
Selection & Setup Notes
The 200 A class is the entry point into gas-controlled precision plasma. It pays for itself quickly where parts currently go through a grinding station after cutting. For heavier plate see the Max-300HPR and Max-400HPR. Gas selection guidance is in stainless-steel gas selection.
